Routine Eye Exams
It is recommended you get a comprehensive eye exam every two years. Exams are covered by Alberta Health Care for children 18 and under and for seniors 65 and older.
Your eyes age with you; as your eyes grow older, your chances of developing an eye disease or other conditions rise. Some of these diseases include glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. Though your risk increases, that doesn’t mean you’re left unprotected. Book an appointment today if you are experiencing any vision problems or looking to be proactive about your eye health.
children’s eye exams
The COA recommends children have their first eye exam when they are between 6 to 9 months old, at least once between 1 and 5 years, and annual eye exams from ages 5+
dry eye therapy
We understand how dry eyes can impact your life. We can help you find the right solutions to suit your needs so you can see clearly and feel comfortable.
If you are interested in trying contact lenses, you will need to have an eye exam to determine if they are right for you. A variety of different eye conditions may prevent you from using contact lenses to correct your vision, and the only way to determine your candidacy is by undergoing a contact lens focused eye exam.
Book an appointment with us, and we can help you start seeing clearly.
Known as nearsightedness, is a refractive error that prevents you from seeing clearly at a distance. Your near vision remains unaffected. Myopia occurs when the shape of your eye is too elongated, or the back wall is too steep, causing the light entering your eye to focus in front of your retina instead of on it.
Though there is no cure for myopia, comprehensive eye exams can determine the extent of your myopia and find the prescription you need to enjoy clear, crisp vision.

We offer consultations to see if you would be a candidate for laser eye surgery. If you are a good match, we will go through the different types of laser eye surgery and help you determine which type is likely to yield the best results for you. Even though laser eye surgery is widely available and can be very safe to perform, this does not mean that every patient is a match for the procedure.
